PRAN Card details application form benefits activation

PRAN Card(Permanent Retirement Account Number Card) is an 12 digit unique identity number issued to persons who register under national pension scheme (NPS).

NPS is governed by Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).NSDL has entered into an agreement with PFRDA for setting a Central Book Keeping Agency (CRA) wherein all the details of members of NPS are NSDL is authorized to issue PRAN.

How to apply PRAN Card:
Fill an online application form for a New PRRN Card.
keep all documents required which are 
  • Permanent Account Number issued by income tax department
  • If PAN is not available then you need Adhar card.
  • A bank account with any of the authorized banks
  • Scanned copy of photograph and signature in peg/jpg of 4kb – 12kb.
  • Debit/credit card/ internet banking information for online payment.
  • Copy of Adress Proof.

choose new registration form.employee/subscriber age limit between 18 to 60 have to fill up the all the details photograph, signature, mandatory details, scheme preference details etc and need to submit KYC documentation with respect to proof of identity and proof of address.

Section 1 - Personal details of a subscriber.
Section 2 - Employment details.
Section 3- Nomination details of subscriber
Section 4 - Scheme details.
Section 5- Declaration of T-PIN and I-PIN
You have to make your first contribution (minimum of Rs 500) at the time of applying for registration to any POP-SP. For this, you have to submit NCIS (Instruction Slip) mentioning the details of the payment makes towards your PRAN account.
